Delta Airlines and AirTran Threaten to Move Flights from Atlanta

delta_logoDelta Airlines, one of the biggest carrier airlines in the world and AirTran, a low cost airline based in Orlando, stated that they might move some flights to other airports from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, if the airport does maintain competitive costs on fees they pay.

At present Delta Airlines and AirTran represents over 93% of the traffic at Hartsfield-Jackson. Though the master lease agreement that apply to airlines at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is set till September 2010, but talks between the sides have already heated up.
