Morocco is a renowned destination amongst the American tourist hordes. The cities like Fez, Casablanca and Marrakech have so much to see that you will want to visit them year after year. Beside its vibrant cities, the rural areas of the country are worth a visit. Whether its undulating desert dunes, mountains or pristine beaches, you will find them all!

The city of Fez has marvelous architecture, alluring Medina (in old part of the city), Karaouine Mosque and University, dating from 859. Marrakech is another great place to travel all day and night. Visit Casablanca, a potpourri of the old and the new, inviting tourists with its great attractions!

Moreover, there are plenty of accommodations for every budget. Try renting a room in traditional “raid” style hotel; or stay in a restored kasbah that once served as fortress for the important families and now have been turned into luxury hotel. Budget travelers can easily find cheap hostels and guesthouses scattered throughout the country.

In addition to Fez, Casablanca, Rabat and Marrakech, it is worth considering visits to Essaouira, for a glimpse of a coastal town with a rich architectural history, and Agadir, where you can start a trip along the coast, eat sumptuous seafood, and perhaps head out to the Anti-Atlas Mountains. With so much to do and see a trip to Morocco is just not to be missed!
